Kevin Santiago (a.k.a. Santiago) is an artist/rapper in Messiah Muzic Ministry. He was born and raised in New Orleans,Louisiana. He was raised by his grandparents due to his mother and father not being able to raise him. His father was addicted to crack cocaine and his mother never accepted the responsibility of raising him. Through out his adolescent years, he was surrounded by peers that sold and used drug. This eventually led him to the lifestyle of smoking and distributing large quantities of marijuana. He was addicted to money, cars, women, and material things. At the same time, he was trying to build his music career as a worldly rapper that went by the name of Kageous. During this time, he ran into a friend from elementary school named Gina Vallecillo, soon to be Gina Santiago. She constantly insisted that he should change his way of living and give his life to Christ. That wasn't an option at the time, so he continued to work for the enemy. On March 8, 2015, his wife insisted he attend church service. Even though he didn't want to go, he attended anyway. This began his walk towards Christ. God started working in his life instantly. He began to change the songs he wrote, the people he surrounded his self with, and the ways he thought. At the end of April 2015, he dropped his first christian mixtape called "Don't Look Back." During the following month, he was invited to Houston,Texas to attend an outreach where he met the Messiah Muzic family. That's when God started lining everything up.
The Young Disciples is a group of two brothers named Kevin Santiago (Young Saint) and Kristofer Santiago (Young Gospel). They were both born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are the children of artist's "Santiago" and "Gina Santiago".
My name is Daniel a.k.a D'MAND for the simple fact that I'm acknowledging that I demand for Christ in my life, as well as in the lives around me. I reside in San Antonio Texas and my testimony is a deliverance from alcohol and drugs. The addiction was something I tried to stop on my own but only with the power of Christ did I really finally defeat my addiction. I was never incarcerated for drug abuse but spiritually I was bound by chains by giving into my flesh. The chains have been broken, and through music I wanna inspire others to realize that we can experience an even greater high from the most high God when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. God has had His hand on this ministry and wherever He decides to take us we just pray that lives get transformed and souls are won into the kingdom of God.
VP- Messiah Muzic
God has given me a gift of servitude. After a deliverance of 14 yr addiction to cocaine, my goal is to help my brothers use their God given talents to glorify our Messiah Jesus Christ!
When it comes to hip hop, D.O.P. is all too familiar with the transition of going from the secular scene to the Christian scene. From Chicago to Phoenix, his testimony is one that is common to many people. His lyrics are faith based but based on his experiences so it makes his music relatable. A rough past mixed with his now story of salvation from death to life is felt in his songs. He has broken thru many barricades to get to the point to where he is at today but admits that the race is not over yet and acknowledges that without God as his compass, he would still be lost. His passion for music is stronger than ever and his mission is to reach as many people as possible in hopes of showing them that in the end, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that…….Jesus is LORD.
