Danny Cooper was born in St. Louis, MO. He grew up in a house hold that only allowed music that glorified God to be played. This was taboo, based on the fact that he lived in the hood, where ungodly music surrounded him.
As Danny grew, he realized he had a problem; he loved the culture that he was engulfed in (hip-hop) yet he was not allowed to listen to its music. At the young age of about eight or nine, he got his first taste of Christian Rap, and has been a fan ever since.
He moved to Texas at the age of fifteen and realized God called him to minister the gospel through, but certainly not limited to rap. Danny has been privileged to travel the country encouraging the BODY OF CHRIST with his lyrics, and continues to serve the Lord with the Gift he was given. On any given Sunday, you will find Danny at the front and center of the youth room at his church home, serving as the assistant children/youth pastor. Everyone else in his life knows they can find him at churches, community events and clubs from state to state ministering by way of his favorite genre Christian Rap/Hip-Hop. Danny is also making a name for himself as a videographer and has produced several music videos for himself and others.
He is back at it again, with a new album titled, “Train Hard” and today, he has dropped a promo video for the title track, “Train Hard”. You can check this dope video out as well as all of his other videos at the link below. The release date for this dope project is July 8, 2016. I have had the privilege of listening to it, and it is definitely a heavy dose of ear candy. Go cop that!!!!
