Steven Malcolm Album Review

00

I’m back with another review, this time were jumping into Steven Malcolm ’s highly anticipated debut self titled album “Steven Malcolm”.  The kid is spreading that heat across the globe with tracks like “Hot Boy”, “SIX FOUR” an “LEH GET IT”. This album screams growth as Steven displays transparency on all levels with tracks like “The struggle”, he gives a first hand insight into his past, present and future. Tracks 2 and 11 bring his Jamaican heritage into full bloom with two dope tracks that literally drive you straight to the islands. There’s literally something for everyone on this album. Ranging from bangers to kick-backs, this cat brings forth an arsenal of tracks, 13 to be exact. Steven brings in a selection of heavy hitters as features such as Andy Mineo, Pyrexx and Joey Jewish, to name a few. Summed up, this album shouts praises to God, a love for people and a passion for music. He definitely puts his heart and soul into his work. With that being said, I rate this album 5/5. I strongly suggest this album. You can pick it up Feb.17th at stevenmalcolm.com or cop it on the Winter Jam tour.
